Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MORTH)

An apex organisation under the Central Government, is entrusted with the task of formulating and administering, in consultation with other Central Ministries/Departments, State Governments/UT Administrations, organisations and individuals, policies for Road Transport, National Highways and Transport Research with a view to increasing the mobility and efficiency of the Road Transport system in the country.


National Highway Authority of India (NHAI)

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is an autonomous agency of the Government of India, responsible for management of a network of over 60,000 km of National Highways in India. Constituted by an act of Parliament, the National Highways Authority of India Act,1988. It is responsible  for the development, maintenance and management of National Highways entrusted to it and for matters connected or incidental thereto. The Authority was operational in Feb, 1995.


Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL)

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), is a Special Purpose Vehicle created to undertake project development, mobilization of financial resources and implement projects pertaining to strengthening of Golden Quadrilateral and Port Connectivity. It is the first major non-budgetary initiative for creating rail transport capacity ahead of demand and on a commercial format. RVNL has been registered as a company under Companies Act 1956 on 24.1.2003. It is a wholly owned Government company under the provisions of Section 617 of Companies Act. Certificate of Incorporation was obtained on 24.1.2003. .


National Rural Road Development Agency (NRRDA)

Government of India have embarked upon a programme of construction of Rural Roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. The programme envisages the setting up of a National Rural Roads Development Agency (NRRDA) to extend support to the programme through advice on technical specifications, project appraisal, appointment of part-time Quality Control Monitors, Management of Monitoring Systems and submission of Periodic Reports to the Ministry of Rural Development.


National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC)

NBCC was incorporated in November 1960 as a wholly owned Government of India undertaking under the erstwhile Ministry of Works, Housing & Supply (“MoWHS”), which is now known as the Ministry of Urban Development (“MoUD”).


Airport Authority of India (AAI)

Airports Authority of India (AAI) was constituted by an Act of Parliament and came into being on 1st April 1995 by merging erstwhile National Airports Authority and International Airports Authority of India. The merger brought into existence a single Organization entrusted with the responsibility of creating, upgrading, maintaining and managing civil aviation infrastructure both on the ground and air space in the country.


Telecommunication Consultants India Ltd. New Delhi (TCIL)

TCIL, a prime engineering and consultancy company, is a wholly owned Government of India Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Telecommunications(DOT), Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. TCIL was set up in 1978 for providing Indian telecom expertise in all fields of telecom, Civil and IT to developing countries around the world. Company’s core competence is in the fields of Switching, Transmission Systems, Cellular services, Rural Telecommunication, Optical fibre based backbone transmission systems, IT & Networking Solutions, Application Software, e-Governence, 3G Network, WIMAX Technology and also Civil construction projects.


Madhya Pradesh Roads Development Corporation (MPRDC)

Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Ltd. (MPRDC) was incorporated as a wholly government owned company under The Companies Act 1956; as amended by The Companies (Amendment) Act 2002 and The Companies (Second Amendment) Act 2002, by the Government vides order No. F-1-24-I-2004/Gen./19 with an authorized share capital of Rs. 20 Crore, paid up share capital of Rs. 10 Crore. The Company has received a Certificate of Incorporation and Certificate of Commencement of Business from the Registrar of Companies, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on July 14 and August 11, 2004 respectively.


Gujarat State Road Development Corporation (GSRDC)

GSRDC is a Corporation established by the Government of Gujarat ,through a Government Resolution dated Feb. 20,1999 and the GSRDC has been in incorporated on 12th May ,1999 as a limited company under the Companies Act,1956. The State has formed a wholly owned Government undertaking “Gujarat State Road Development Corporation Ltd” (GSRDC) to implement the plans laid down in Gujarat Infrastructure Agenda – Vision 2010.


Haryana State Road Development Corporation (HSRDC)

The main objects of the company is to construct, erect, build, re-model, repair, execute, develop, improve, administer, manager, control, maintain, demolish, grade, curve, pave, macadamize, cement, highways, expressways, roads, paths, streets, bridges, sideways,, bye-passes, tunnels, pavements, reclamation, improvements, road over bridges, road under bridges, underground roads, or any other structural or architectural work and also to do other similar constructions.


Uttar Pradesh State Highway Authority (UPSHA)

U.P. State Highways Authority is constituted by UP act no. 19 of 2004 dated Aug’13, 2004 for the development, maintenance and management of state highways and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
U.P. State Highways Authority is planning to take up the construction of state highways and railway over bridges on Public-Private-Partnership basis. Govt. of India guidelines and experience of National Highways Authority of India has been taken as examples for taking up the works and framing the policy framework. The process for selection of consultants to undertake the preliminary project preparation for selected state highways and railway over bridges has been taken up for construction under PPP.


Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure & Finance Development Corporation (RUIFD)

Government of Rajasthan (GoR) took Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project (RUIDP) with the loan assistance from Asian Development Bank (ADB), to provide integrated quality infrastructural facilities in six divisional headquarters of the State and with the further requirement it was extended to 15 more towns under RUIDP Phase-II Rajasthan Urban Sector Development & Investment Programme (RUSDIP). The GoR formed RUIDP and entrusted the work of the infrastructure development in the urban cities.


Madhya Pradesh Rural Roads Development Authority (MPRRDA)

To implementation of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna in Madhya Pradesh, an agency called Madhya Pradesh Rural Road Development Authority (registered under the Societies Act, hereafter called the Authority) has been created. A Chief Executive Officer from the I.A.S cadre heads the Authority. 100 Project Implementation Units (PIUs) for fifty districts have been constituted to co-ordinate the works executed by the contractors and supervised by the consultants.


Madhya Pradesh Public Works Department (MPPWD)

Public Works Department Madhya Pradesh is the premier agency of Govt. of M.P engaged in planning, designing, construction and maintenance of Government assets in the field of built environment and infrastructure development.


Rajasthan Public Works Department (RPWD)

The Rajasthan Public Works Department (RPWD) has a glorious history in the development of the state since pre independence. The department is mainly entrusted with construction and maintenance of Roads, Bridges and Government buildings etc.


Andhra Pradesh Public Works Department (APPWD)

The main functional role of Andhra Pradesh Public Works Department (APPWD) is the construction and maintenance of Roads and Buildings within Andhra Pradesh. The functions, responsibilities and operations of Roads and Buildings are defined under the Andhra pradesh Public works code, 1976 and the subsequent amendments to the code. With respect to the Roads, Roads and Buildings is responsible for the construction and maintenance of the State Principal Road Network including National highways(on behalf of Govt. of India), State Highways and Major District Roads.


Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, Pune

Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation or PCMC is a Municipal corporation in the city of Pimpri-Chinchwad which is a suburb of Pune. This corporation is situated on Mumbai – Pune National Highway (Part of NH 4) in the heart of Pimpri-Chinchwad. It was established in 1982 covering an area of about 87 square km. Sometime back, this was the Richest Municipal Corporationof Asia. And the reason behind it is that, it has a industrial belt of small as well as big National & Multinational Companies. All the industrial units are closed on Thursdays.


Gujarat maritime Board (GMB)

Gujarat is a pioneering, futuristic and entrepreneurial state of the country. In particular, Gujarat’s maritime sector is considered to be the most proactive and well developed sectors of India. During the year 2011-12, ports in Gujarat handled about 259 million tonnes of cargo compared to 231 million tonnes handled during the previous year making a 12.12% increase in the traffic handled. Capacity of 39 MT was added during the current year 2011-12 augmenting the capacity of Gujarat ports to 323 MT.


MP State Agricultural Marketing Board (MPSAMB)

MP State Agricultural Marketing Board (MPSAMB) also known as MP MANDI BOARD.
